Houston, TX (October 4, 2018) – Hope Stone Dance (HSD) presents Honey, I’m Home, a site-specific performance inspired by Ripple, an immersive sculpture created on the grounds of Cherryhurst House, a bungalow in Montrose, by recent artist in residence Havel Ruck Projects.

Honey, I’m Home features guest artists Jacquelyn Long and Natalie Varnum (appearing courtesy of Houston Ballet) along with the men of HSD – Joshua de Alba, La’Rodney Freeman, Travis Prokop and Donald Sayre – and explores domestic life in a home where the walls, floors and ceilings are exposed to the outside world and neighbors.

Each intimate audience at 12pm, 2pm and 4pm is greeted by the resident “family” and invited into their domestic bliss for a little Sunday tea, some tidying and a peek into the life of a family unprotected from the elements, with imperfections showing.

Also appearing is Bonnie Collins, former HSD company member.
