Rednerrus Feil Presents Into-Me-See

HOUSTON, TEXAS – September 12, 2013 – Named one of Houston Press’ 100 Creatives for 2013, artistic director Amy Llanes presents Into-Me-See November 1 – 2, 2013 at 8PM at The Barn. For the first time since moving to Houston, RFDC will showcase a full evening of works that truly capture the company’s essence. With a vast range of topics and concepts, Llanes takes the audience on an intimate journey through movement design and live performance.
With works such as “Goodbye, Grace.” that began as a solo work study investigating the multiple layers of innocence and the repercussions of its loss to “Word of Mouth” a large group work focusing on the awkward verbal moments of our conversational lives, Into-Me-See plays off the personal interactions Llanes comes to recognize in her daily life.
Additionally, “M2” an excerpt from Llanes thesis work focuses on breast cancer and the female body image. With the use of projection design, M2 illustrates the deconstruction of the socially acceptable female body and how one may react to such a process. With over five fresh works ready to spark your visceral receptors, RFDC looks forward to sharing an amazing evening of dance with the Houston community.
Tickets are $10 for online presale and $15 general admission at the door. Tickets can be purchased online atwww.redfeildance.com.

About Rednerrus Feil Dance Company
Founded in 2006 by Artistic Director, Amy Llanes, Rednerrus Feil Dance Company is now a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that strives to produce high quality performance art based on emotive life experiences. We delight in exploring how the meaning of movement can reveal the personal nature of our own histories. Focusing on driving past our assumed abilities, we dare to take risks as individual artists and as a company.  RFDC also works to encourage the growth of artistic endeavors in our community.  But most importantly, we aim to move with purpose.
