February marks the fiftieth anniversary of the Beatles’ U.S. debut on the Ed Sullivan Show back in 1964. To commemorate this momentous occasion, Bay Area Houston Ballet & Theatre invites you to come together, right now, for A Stroll Down Abbey Road. This contemporary-style dance production is a first for the company as it pays tribute to one of history’s most iconic musical groups.Enjoy selections from the Beatles’ extensive catalog that reach beyond their acclaimed, best-selling Abbey Road album. Some of the featured songs include Here Comes the Sun, Because, Eleanor Rigby, Black Bird, Yellow Submarine and Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds.

“Guests will experience creative works developed by renowned choreographers including Ayman Harper, Max Issacson, Amber Thornton, Natalie Zundel and our artist in residence, Bobby Amamizu,” said Lynette Mason Gregg, founder of BAHBT. “We are delighted to present a variety of dance styles such as contemporary, tap, neo-classical and silks, all to some of the greatest music ever written.”

Evening and matinee performances span two weekends and are held at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts Oliver Theatre from February 14-23 at 2:00 and 7:30pm. Tickets are $20 for adults and $15 for students, seniors and members of the military.

Bring your sweetheart to a romantic dinner-and-show event available on Valentine’s Day for $75 per person.
