Ad Deum Company presents MOVING VIOLATIONS PARDONED, a landmark performance where all bodies in motion are free to collide, weave, and make daring turns and jumps with no fear. This performance is about moving in grace and abandonment; it is about celebrating and living with freedom, to move in space without fear of violation and road restrictions, with clear guidance along the road.

Several new dance works will take to the highway, including EXODUS by former Doug Varrone dancer Ryan Corriston. The movement vocabulary of this work is layered with the determined directive of being unleashed into perpetual motion and securely fastened in a greater safety that rescues the mover from the dangers of traffic.

Jose Limon dancer/choreographer Durell Ron Comedy positions his dancers with clear destination, to discover unconfined joy in the journey, as he presents JOYFUL NOISE. This work is full of twist and turns and spirals and falls and leaps and bounds and keeps the driver on the edge of their seat. It is a clear and yet extremely complex thrilling ride.

International choreographer Stephen Wynne keeps the Ad Deum dancers securely alert along the complexities and dangerous detours in his richly sober and succulent AWAKENINGS, where a bond of three travelers move deep into exploring what truly waits at the end of the road.

Ad Deum director Randall Flinn takes the driver’s seat and transports his artists towards a three lane road trip where the sights along the highway change from mile to mile. He first maps out SACRIFICE, a Graham-based epic story of conquest and surrender. Moving on to the next leg of the journey where the dancers converge in FROM ONE HEART, where the music pulses and the percussive breathless beauty woven through the maze of movement captivates the heart. Then he leads his passengers to the final destination where the deep waters and cooling shade of OH JESUS provide a welcome place of rest and reflection.
