Frame X Frame Film Festival Returns November 7–23, 2025

HOUSTON, TX — Frame Dance Productions is proud to announce the return of the Frame X Frame Film Festival, running November 7–23, 2025. Now in its eighth year, the festival continues to celebrate the power of movement through film, bringing together choreographers, filmmakers, and audiences from around the world to explore the intersection of dance and cinema.
This year’s festival opens on Friday, November 7, with a special in-person screening at Houston Ballet of Lives Beyond Motion, a new documentary by filmmaker, dancer, and choreographer Keith Glassman. The film explores masculinity, identity, and artistry through the experiences of men in dance and features Bill T. Jones, Matthew Rushing, Lar Lubovitch, and Kyle Abraham, among others.
Following the screening, Harrison Guy—Houston artist, community leader, and founder of Urban Souls Dance Company—will moderate a panel conversation with Houston Ballet Dancers Harper Watters, Song Teng, and Sam Rodriguez to discuss masculinity, artistry, and personal experience in dance today.
